There are special facilities made available for the elderly. Therefore, the government has offered retirement homes to the elderly. This type of facility is only made available for the aged. The usual pattern of such settlements is that it is a multi-residence housing facility. Each elderly person or couple will be given an apartment style room or a couple of rooms together.
Here they will continue to live like it is their own residence. Many other facilities are provided within these apartment settings for the elderly. This means they will be given free meals, they will have a gathering and other recreation facilities. They will have resources for hospital and other health utilities. There are many such retirement communities and have scores of retirement residences within them.
Retirement living is different than regular living. A place here can be paid for like a rental home or you can buy it, if you have the resources. Many old couples prefer living in such communities are they are well looked after. It is not always possible for family members to be around and therefore, such settlements are of great importance. Also in case of emergencies, some kind of help will be administered immediately.
